About Packing
A behind-the-scenes look at how Louisiana Packaging Corp engineers containment solutions for the food and chemical industries — from stock fulfillment to custom-mold design.
Louisiana Packaging Corp has been engineering packaging solutions from our Slidell, Louisiana facility since 1995. What started as a family-owned distribution operation has grown into a trusted partner for businesses across all 50 states, serving the food, beverage, chemical, and industrial sectors.
Our process begins with understanding your product. Every container decision starts with the contents — what's going inside, how it'll be stored, how it'll ship, and how the end consumer will interact with it. Our experienced sales staff works directly with you to identify the right material, size, and closure system for your specific application.
Our Material Families
We maintain an extensive in-stock product line across five material families: glass, P.E.T. (polyethylene terephthalate), polypropylene, H.D.P.E. (high-density polyethylene), and closure systems including caps and shaker tops. Stock items are ready to ship, typically within 1–3 business days, making them ideal for businesses that need reliable supply without long lead times.
Custom Mold Capabilities
For products that require a non-standard solution, we offer custom mold capabilities. This means we can design and fabricate a container built to your exact specifications — whether that's a unique shape, a specific capacity, or a proprietary profile. Custom molding requires a higher minimum order quantity and longer lead time, but it gives you a container that's purpose-built for your product.
Beyond the Container
Our capabilities extend beyond the container itself. We help you navigate material selection, closure compatibility, regulatory compliance, and logistics. Because we're family-owned and locally operated, you work directly with decision-makers — no corporate layers between you and the people who can get things done.
What sets Louisiana Packaging apart isn't just what we sell — it's how we partner. We see packaging as a critical link in your supply chain, not a commodity. When your production line depends on containers arriving on time and meeting spec, that partnership matters.
